Fire-rated ducts are used in smoke extraction and stair pressurization systems. These systems must keep working during a fire, when normal ventilation has already been shut down. Their ducts therefore meet higher requirements: more rigidity, tighter joints and, where needed, fire-protective insulation.
Material, sheet thickness, joint type and the need for fire protection are set by the project. We manufacture to the given specification and supply it together with fire dampers — one supplier for the whole job.
